SEHF Partnership
Official Partnership
Built for Grassroots Hockey
Every stick sold puts hockey in a child's hands for the first time.
Why We Partnered
Elk Hockey was built on a simple belief: the game should be for everyone. Not just those who can afford elite kit or who grow up near a club. Everyone.
South East Hockey Futures shares that belief. They work directly with clubs and schools across Kent, Surrey and Sussex to deliver hockey to young people who have never played before — removing the barriers of access, cost and geography that keep so many kids away from the game.
When we found each other, the partnership made complete sense. We make sticks. They put sticks in hands. Together, we grow the game from the ground up.
"Volunteers and goodwill alone don't scale. South East Hockey Futures gives clubs the structure and support to do what they already want to do — with more consistency and sustainability."
South East Hockey Futures — Mission Statement
How It Works
Choose any Elk Hockey stick from our range. Every model, every bow profile — each one contributes directly to the programme.
From every stick sale, £20 is donated directly to South East Hockey Futures to fund their school coaching programme across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
One hour of hockey coaching costs £20. Your purchase funds exactly one complete session — delivered by a real coach, in a real school.
Somewhere in the South East, a young person plays hockey for the very first time. Your purchase made that happen.
The Maths
One purchase. One session. One child experiencing hockey for the first time. Every time.
99 Schools.
Thousands of Children.
One Region.
By September 2026, South East Hockey Futures has set itself a bold target: reach 99 schools across the South East, introduce thousands of children to the game, and help clubs build stronger, more sustainable junior sections. Every Elk Hockey stick sold is a direct contribution to that number.
About South East Hockey Futures
SEHF Funds Clubs For
- Coaching delivery
- Pitch hire
- Equipment
- Membership bursaries
- School-to-club transition
South East Hockey Futures is a regional system designed to help hockey clubs reach more schools, more children, and more communities — sustainably, not sporadically. It sits under South East Hockey, the regional governing body affiliated with England Hockey, covering Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Clubs can apply to SEHF for funding that covers everything from coaching delivery and pitch hire through to equipment, membership bursaries, and activities that help young players transition from a school session into a club environment — and stay there.
The goal is a proper, long-term pathway. Not a one-off taster. Not a box ticked. A genuine route from a child's very first touch of the ball all the way through to an active club membership and a lifelong relationship with the game.
Elk Hockey is proud to be named as SEHF's Innovation & Growth Partner — playing our part in building that pathway, one stick at a time.
